mesa is a meal planning app built for households where someone (or several someones) is responsible for putting dinner on the table — not just tonight, but every night, for people with different tastes and dietary needs and schedules.
What we believe
Cooking is for households. Apps should respect that.
Per-person, not per-app
Different people need different things. Sam can't eat dairy. Mom hates mushrooms. The kid is going through a beige food phase. mesa knows who's eating tonight, and every recipe is filtered, scaled, and customized for the table you're actually setting.
AI that's actually useful
"Customize this recipe to my household" is something only mesa ai does well — because it has access to the full picture: allergies, kitchen tools, past feedback, and what's already on the meal plan this week.
Sync without accounts
No new login. No subscription tiers per family member. Your household data lives in your own iCloud, syncs across devices, and nobody but you can see it. Built on CloudKit because it's the right tool for the job.
Made for the kitchen counter
Cooking mode has timers, voice control, big readable type, and parallel hints that tell you what to do while the rice cooks. Built for messy hands, distracted attention, and weeknight chaos.

Hi — I built mesa because every meal planning app I tried felt like it was made for someone with one stomach and infinite time. I have a family, and I cook for them every night, and I wanted an app that understood the difference.
