About
A meal planner for whoever's at your table.
Every other recipe app treats cooking like a search problem. It isn't.
It's a "what does Maya not eat this week and why is the air fryer the only thing clean" problem. It's a "we have leftover rice but Daniel wants pasta and I have forty-five minutes" problem. It's a "Aisha is gluten-free, Theo is testing vegetarian, and I just want one meal that doesn't end in a fight" problem.
mesa is a meal planning app for the people who put dinner on the table — not just tonight, but every night. Whether your table seats one, two, or ten. Whether everyone eats the same thing or nobody does.
What we believe
Cooking is personal. The app should be too.
Per-person, not per-app
Different people need different things. Priya is vegetarian. Ben can't have nuts. Sofia keeps things low-sodium. mesa knows who's eating tonight — and every recipe is filtered, scaled, and customized for the table you're actually setting.
AI that's actually useful
"Customize this recipe to my household" is something only mesa ai does well — because it has access to the full picture: allergies, kitchen tools, past feedback, and what's already on the meal plan this week.
Private by default
No new account. No subscription tiers per person. Your recipes, plans, and grocery lists live privately in your own Apple iCloud — stored on Apple's secure servers, synced across every device you own, visible only to you and the people you choose to share with.
Made for the kitchen counter
Cooking mode has timers, voice control, big readable type, and parallel hints that tell you what to do while the rice cooks. Built for messy hands, distracted attention, and weeknight chaos.
Made by Cohen Cooks LLC
We're a small team that's lived through the weeknight scramble — the after-work fridge stare, the partner texting "no chicken again please," the kid who only eats things that are beige, the dinner party for ten where half the guests are vegan. We've tried the recipe apps, the meal planners, the printed cookbooks pulled apart at the spine. None of them really got it.
Meal planning isn't about finding a recipe. It's about finding the right recipe for the people sitting at your table tonight — and a different right recipe tomorrow. We're passionate about giving home cooks tools that actually understand the household: the allergies, the picky eaters, the leftover rice in the fridge, the 25-minute window between practice and bedtime, the Saturday you finally have three hours.
mesa is built with care, by people who cook every night for the people they love — for tables of one, two, or ten.
